Facet is a small maison of eight, quietly making fine jewelry the way it should be made.
We started Facet in 2018 with a small idea. A piece of fine jewelry should be beautiful, but it should also be honest about how it was made, who cut the stone, and who set it. We have not deviated from that idea in seven years.

Every Facet piece is made in a workshop above a bakery, twenty minutes outside Geneva. Eight people work there. Two are setters, one is a caster, three are jewelers, one is a gemologist, one is our founder. Nothing is contracted out.
Visitors are welcome, most days, by appointment.

Every diamond and coloured stone that leaves the atelier is delivered with a certificate that names the mine, the cutter, and the grader. If you would rather bring your own stone, we set it for you at cost.
We do not use synthetics, and we do not use any stone that cannot trace its origin to a mine we have visited.
Four things we will not compromise on, in the order we ranked them when we started the atelier.
Every setting, every polish, every clasp. No cast-and-ship. If we cannot make it in the atelier we do not sell it.
Every stone comes with a paper trail. We name the mine, the cutter, and the grader on the certificate.
Every piece is cleaned and re-polished, free of charge, for as long as you own it. Send it in every three years.
If a Facet piece stops fitting your life, we take it back at eighty percent of the original price. Always.
Eight people. Every one has spent at least a decade at the bench. No juniors, no delegation.
We release one collection each spring. The rest of the year we make bridal, service the pieces already out there, and rest.
Two setters, one caster, our founder. First order shipped in November: a solitaire ring for a friend of the family.
Our first bench-cut pave line. Fifty diamonds set by hand on a woven mesh. Still the piece most Facet clients own.
By appointment, in the atelier. Every ring is designed with the client at the bench. No two are the same.
Small pendants for every day, on a chain we make ourselves. Fourteen thousand shipped in the first year.
Geneva and Zurich. The atelier stays the same size, on purpose.
The atelier is open by appointment, most working days. Ten minutes from the Geneva station.
