A twelve-image editorial commissioned by Prism magazine, shot in a single afternoon in a rented studio in Nakameguro. Available as limited-edition archival prints.

The brief from the magazine was a single sentence. Photograph the pendant so that the light itself is the subject. The pendant is the excuse.
The studio had one window on the south wall. We shot from 2pm to 4pm, chasing the sun as it moved across the floor. Every frame in the series was taken in that window.
