About this vibe coding template

Avatar group template for developers and designers building products where more than one person touches the same thing. Names take reading. Faces do not, and a row of them with a count on the end answers who is on this in about a quarter of a second. It appears on project rows, document headers, task cards, and anywhere a team product has to show participation without spending a line of text on it. Plain HTML and CSS, no libraries and no build step.

Common questions about this template

What is an avatar group?

A row of overlapping profile pictures with a count for anyone who did not fit. It shows who is involved in something without listing names.

How many avatars should show before the count?

Three to five. Past that the faces get too small to recognize and the row stops earning its space, so the count does the rest of the work.

What if someone has no profile picture?

Their initials on a colored circle. Every avatar group needs this, because in any real product a good share of people never upload a photo.

Which tools work with this avatar group template?

Claude Code, Replit, Lovable, ChatGPT Codex, Bolt, and Cursor. Paste it in and point it at your own members.
