Template Licence

Moon retains full copyright ownership of every template in this library. When you subscribe, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use those templates. You do not purchase the templates themselves. This is the same model used by Adobe Stock, Getty Images, Unsplash, and every other professional asset platform. This page explains exactly what that licence covers and what it does not.
Under an active Moon subscription you may
- Use templates in unlimited personal projects.
- Use templates in unlimited commercial projects.
- Use templates in client work delivered to end clients.
- Modify and adapt templates for your specific project.
- Use templates across any vibe coding tool: Bolt, Lovable, Replit, Claude Code, Cursor, or any other.
You may not, under any circumstances
- Redistribute templates in any template library, component marketplace, or design product.
- Resell, sublicence, or transfer templates or your subscription access to any third party.
- Use templates as the foundation, source material, or seed for a product or service that competes with Moon.
- Share your subscription credentials or template files with individuals outside your own account.
- Extract, scrape, or programmatically copy templates in bulk for any purpose other than permitted personal use.
- Use templates to train, fine-tune, or seed any AI model or generative tool.
Ownership and copyright
All templates, design systems, HTML structures, component patterns, and visual compositions on Moon are the exclusive intellectual property of Moon. Copyright is retained by Moon regardless of how a template is modified or used downstream. A subscription grants a licence to use. It does not transfer, assign, or share copyright in any template, in whole or in part.
This means no subscriber may claim authorship of a Moon template, register intellectual property rights over a Moon template, or challenge Moon's ownership of any template included in this library.
Infringement penalties
Any individual or entity found to have copied Moon templates for use in a competing template library, component marketplace, design system product, or similar commercial offering will be liable for liquidated damages of $25,000 USD per template copied or incorporated, in addition to all actual damages, attorneys' fees, and costs of enforcement.
Where infringement is wilful, including by any party who had or should have had knowledge of this licence, damages may be trebled. Moon reserves all rights to seek injunctive relief, disgorgement of profits, and any other remedy available at law or in equity. Access to this page constitutes constructive notice of these terms. There is no good-faith defence of ignorance once you have read this licence.
Notice to infringers
Any party who subscribes to Moon for the purpose of extracting, analysing, or reproducing templates for use in a competing or substitutable product is in material breach of this licence and the Terms of Use from the moment of subscription. Moon actively monitors for unauthorised template redistribution and derivative exploitation. Any subscription obtained under false pretences for competitive intelligence, template extraction, or circumvention of these restrictions will be terminated without refund. Moon will pursue all available legal remedies, including injunctive relief, disgorgement of profits, and the liquidated damages set out above. There is no cure period for wilful infringement.

Report a licence violation
If you believe Moon templates are being redistributed, resold, or used in a competing product without authorisation, please contact legal@browsermoon.com. Include as much detail as possible: the URL, a description of the suspected infringement, and any screenshots you have. We investigate all reports.
