About this app template

Retention in meditation apps depends on the daily visit. This screen gives somebody a reason to come back every day by surfacing a curated pick with a large play button and a row of three new sessions underneath. The featured card uses a decorative colour blob instead of a photograph, so it reads differently from the category cards on the home screen. The compact icon-only tab bar at the bottom keeps the Sounds tab active, positioning this as the audio-first view. How does the daily pick rotate?

Ask your AI to read the pick from a daily_pick column in Supabase or a scheduled field in Sanity, then fall back to the most recent session if nothing is set. The template does not rotate on its own.

Should the New this week row scroll horizontally?

Yes. Three cards are visible at once, and swiping reveals more. Horizontal scroll is the convention for related content in every streaming and wellness app.

Can I use this as a podcast or audiobook daily screen?

Yes. The layout works for any audio content with a daily recommendation: podcasts, audiobooks, sound baths, ASMR. Rename the sections and swap the play button copy.
